This is a story about a girl and a boy. A story about first love that had already been buried but somehow managed to resurface again. After all, first love never dies, right? Or is it just a concept made by Hollywood? Or is it just a concept that they still want to believe because they're desperate for someone?
I don't know how they first met, was it coincidence? or was it fate? Maybe they thought it was fate that brought them together but maybe it was just a coincidence. Maybe they were not supposed to know each other. Maybe they were just supposed to meet and then leave. No feelings required.
But still, they gave it a chance. They gave love a chance. And luckily, love was being kind to them. They were all lovey-dovey and happy. They were faced with rocks and storms on their road, but nothing they couldn't solve. Everything was solve-able, at the moment. It was them against the world. It was them, standing on the top of the world. But being on the top of the world will only give you farther to fall, bet they never thought about that. And they did fall. Together. With no one to catch them.
Yap, the happy couple was no longer happy and no longer a couple. They were stranger. He said he hated her and she said she didn't care. But words were just words without some action, weren't they?
The girl gave love another chance with other boys, and so did the boy. But the boy said he still loved her and wanted her back, right when she was already happy again, The boy tried to gain her love back but the girl said she had enough. So the boy stopped and she became sad. Ironic, how the world can turn upside down in just a blink of an eye.
Long story short, they were not stranger anymore, but they never were a couple. And he wanted what she couldn't give, so he gave up chasing her. He stopped running but the girl kept running, thinking that he was right behind her. Little did she knew that he was tired of running around and around and around. It was time for him to sit and take a rest. It was time for him to let the rain fall on him and maybe wash his pain away. And while he sat there, he managed to meet another girl, someone he thought could replace her. Someone that he thought could run with him, chasing the rainbow together. And while this was all happening, the girl had stopped running. She looked back and he was nowhere in sight. She wanted to blame him and the world but she knew she was the only one to blame. 'I should have known it' she thought. She was just someone he liked to chase when there was no one else to chase. And yeah, she was right. He continued to chase her right after the other girl left. But even though she knew better, she still let him break her walls. Once again, they were running in tails. They were running in a never ending circle.
And there were no one to blame but themselves. He wanted a relationship but she didn't. He left and she was upset. He came back and she thought she was only a second option. But maybe, he still loved her and had a funny way to show it. Love is blind, or are they too blind to overlook their feelings?
Maybe they should give love a chance like they did in the first time. Or maybe they shouldn't. Maybe they were not supposed to have happy ending. Maybe they were not in the same boat anymore. Maybe they were not flying together anymore. Maybe it was not them against the world anymore. Maybe he was just a character that she met on the first few chapters of her story. Yeah, maybe they should let each other go. And if they really did love each other, they'll meet again, somewhere in the future. After all, fate has a strange way of making plan.
But maybe first love is just a concept. Maybe first love is not supposed to last. Only last love that is supposed to last.
But whatever, it's their story, not mine.
It looks like mine :))
